Sculptural configurations – similar and contrasting, static and dynamic, object-like and organic – form the creative tension of this multimedia room installation. Grotesquely climbing, filigree paper shapes serve as a score for the experimental discourse constantly being newly articulated between two dancers and the audience. The alienated breathing noises of the dancing performers create a peculiar sound which contributes in barely perceptible light changes to the overall atmospheric imagery. In this way, improvisation, association and synaesthetics, the interplay of different sensual impressions, form an open body of action. The title suggests a complex relationship and ultimately uncontrollable process of transformation. (Bernhart Schwenk)
